Making dishes, sculptures, toys, etc.from burnt clay. The ancient potters had different methods of hand-kneading clay and making dishes:
1. cover the outside of a wicker basket or wooden container with clay and then burn them;
2. making the clay by rolling it lengthwise and gluing it on top of each other;
3. roll the clay and beat it with a light crochet from the inside to the outside;
4. cutting out the middle of the rounded clay;
Potterywas spread in the ancient Kazakh land. This is evidenced by pottery found in ancient cities such as Otrar, Sairam and Taraz.
