Kazakh dog breeds tazy and tobet (hunting of animals or prey)
Tazy is a fast, hunting dog, adapted to different geographical areas of the mountains, steppes, Sands, deserts, with a pointed muzzle, ears, fur, sideburns, light body grip.
Tobet is a dog with a large body, harmoniously combined with the nature of the Kazakh land, Hardy, woolly, calm during the day, alert at night, cowardly, guard, herder, adapted for herding, grazing, hunting.
Types of tobet: valuable tazy, zharak kulak (tykyr), shaggy kulak, northern Kazakh tazy, steppe tazy, mountain tazy, Zhetysu tazy, “ereimen akkaskasy” in the central region.
Types of tobet: southern, Mangystau, tautobet, koytobet/shepherd dog.
