The main function of Kazakh shamanism, which was preserved until later, is healing. According to shamanic beliefs, a person gets sick in two different ways: 1. Evil spirits take the body slowly; 2. Evil spirits steals the soul from the body. Shaman healing is also mainly directed against these two acts of malice or the healing activity of a shaman is as follows: 1. to drive away demon from the Body; 2. to return the stolen soul to the body.At first, many of the services characteristic of a shaman later began to move to special specialists. One of them is the predictive task. In Kazakh, the predictors, balger-healers, zhaurynshy were spread. The examples given reveal the relict characteristics of the prophetic activity in the shaman. Secondly, when it comes to healing, the main activity of a shaman, a shaman not only heals the sick, but necessarily makes predictions about his past and future. Fortune-telling is not limited to the use of magical techniques. Shamans often distinguish what caused the disease and what it leads to, just by looking at the roots of the root. Thus, divination is one of the main ritual tasks performed by a shaman.
