Ibrayeva Akmаral Gosmanovna

Born on 18 May 1971.

Education:

From 1988 to 1993, studied at Abai Almaty State University (now Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University), majoring in History Teaching and Additional Law.
In 1999, defended her Candidate of Sciences (PhD equivalent) dissertation entitled «The History of Museum Studies in Kazakhstan (1920-1940)».
In 2010, defended her Doctoral dissertation entitled «Museum Studies in Kazakhstan: Historical Experience of Formation and Development (1831-2006)».

Professional Experience:

She began her professional career as a Lecturer at the Department of Historiography and Source Studies at Abai Almaty State University (now Abai KazNPU). She later worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of History of Kazakhstan at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University; She also served as Deputy Director for Research at the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University; and held the position of Advisor to the Rector.

She completed professional training at Sorbonne University (France), Saint Petersburg State University (Russia), and Maltepe University (Turkey).

Awards and Honors:

She has been awarded the badges «For Contributions to the Development of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan» and «Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

By Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the «Shapagat» Medal and the «Qurmet» Order.

Publications:

Author of 4 monographs, 7 volumes of a series, 5 volumes of academic collections, 7 educational and methodological manuals, and numerous scholarly articles.
