The «PaleoKids» club, aimed at developing the scientific worldview of the younger generation, continues its activities at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The club is a cultural and educational project designed to introduce children to the history of the Earth, ancient life forms, and fossil remains through museum exhibitions and natural science materials.
Recently, another educational session was organized within the framework of the «PaleoKids» club. The lesson was conducted by the museum’s research associate, PhD Ruslan Duvanbekov. The purpose of the session was to familiarize students with ancient living creatures, their habitats, and methods of studying the past through fossil remains.
During the lesson, participants received a general introduction to the science of paleontology, and its importance in studying the history of life on Earth was explained in detail. In addition, engaging and informative materials were presented about different species of dinosaurs, their habitats, and the causes of their extinction. Throughout the session, students had the opportunity to develop observation, comparison, and analytical skills based on the exhibits displayed in the Paleontology Hall.
The club’s activities are aimed at developing children’s scientific thinking, increasing their interest in scientific knowledge, and fostering a culture of responsible attitude toward natural heritage.
