Heritage and Music

A ceremonial evening titled «Heritage and Music», dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the prominent figure of Kazakh music and academician Akhmet Zhubanov, was held at the National Museum.

The event became more than just a concert – it turned into a spiritual bridge connecting the past and present of national art. The audience witnessed how the academic school founded by Zhubanov continues to flourish today in the work of the renowned teacher and composer Senbi Aitbenbetov.

Guests enjoyed the timeless kui compositions of Kurmangazy and Zhubanov, and were deeply impressed by Senbi Aitbenbetov’s original works and the exceptional mastery of his students.

The event was attended by members of the intellectual community, art scholars, cultural professionals, and young performers. Among the participants were teachers of the Aqan Seri Higher College of Culture, the folk ensembles «Balkadisha Murasy», «Alash Amanaty», «Ukili Dombra», «Orken», as well as students of the Senbi Aitbenbetov Dombra Studio.

This event introduced national heritage to the younger generation in a modern format and once again showcased the greatness of Kazakh art.
