At the scientific library of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a scientific and methodological lecture was delivered by Professor Alan Outram of the University of Exeter (United Kingdom), an internationally renowned scholar. The event was organized by the editorial team of the journal «Mädeni Mura».

During the lecture, the scholar spoke about archaeological research conducted at the Botai site. Professor Alan Outram regards the Botai culture as one of the key origins of steppe civilization in human history. His work has made a significant contribution to introducing the Botai culture into global academic discourse.

Professor Alan Outram is also a member of the editorial board of the «Mädeni Mura» academic journal of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
