On the eve of the Great Day of the Nation (Nauryz), from March 10 to 14, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan created a special festive atmosphere for its young visitors.

A Nauryz-themed children’s matinee titled «In the World of Legends» was held within the museum.

The event was organized as a musical-poetic theatrical performance, depicting the renewal of nature through the struggle between good and evil, warmth and cold, while also presenting the rich legends and folklore of the Kazakh people through stage performances.

This vibrant cultural program aimed to develop children’s imagination, introduce them to the national worldview, and foster greater interest in our traditional culture.

More than 1,000 preschool children, primary school students from the capital, members of the «Zamandas» family courtyard club, and children with special educational needs took part in the event.

The National Museum continues to promote spiritual values among the younger generation and present the national cultural heritage in a modern format.
