The Department of Museum Pedagogy and Children's Creativity organized a poetry evening titled «The Heart Sings» as part of the «Dana» project, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the poet and outstanding figure of Kazakh poetry, Мukagali Makataev.
The purpose of the event was to instill national values in students, promote museum exhibits and provide spiritual education, introduce students to the poet’s works, foster artistic culture, and celebrate the greatness of the Kazakh people's identity and character through the power of poetry.
Participants included students of the Kazakh National University of Arts, students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, students of the College of Management, Business and Education, students of the ALT M.Tynyshbayev College of Transport, students of School-Lyceum No. 74 named after Мukagali Makataev, students of BINOM School-Lyceum named after Alikhan Bokeikhan, and students of School-Lyceum No. 73.
An exhibition featuring the poet’s personal belongings, manuscripts, and works from the museum’s collection was presented to the public.
The creative evening, which included songs, poetry recitations, dances, and theatrical performances, demonstrated the younger generation’s special enthusiasm for the arts.
