A round table discussion «The Constitution as a Guarantee of a Bright Future» was held

A round table discussion titled «The Constitution as a Guarantee of a Bright Future» was held at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Union of Artists, dedicated to the discussion of the draft of the new Constitution. More than 60 participants attended the meaningful event and expressed their support for the new constitutional draft.

At the opening of the event, prominent artist and Chairman of the Board of the Public Association «Union of Artists of Astana» Omiraly Ismailov noted: «The phrase «The Constitution as a Guarantee of a Bright Future’ is not merely a slogan; it defines the fundamental values that shape the foundation of societal development, human dignity, freedom, and responsibility».

In her speech, Akmaral Ibrayeva, Deputy Director for Research at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasized: «The Constitution is the foundation of the state’s stability, its future, and its guarantees. The inclusion of important concepts related to art, national values, and historical and cultural heritage in the new draft is a highly valuable initiative». She also highlighted the document’s significance in protecting the rights of the country’s citizens.

During the round table, well-known artists shared their views on the draft of the new Constitution and confidently stated that it would give new momentum to Kazakhstan’s development, including the fields of art and culture.

Thus, the meeting became a platform for open dialogue, providing an opportunity to support the key principles of the constitutional reform in collaboration with members of the creative community, particularly artists, from scientific, professional, and artistic-educational perspectives.
