The National Museum of Kazakhstan and the Hungarian National Museum approved a memorandum

The Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Abdigaliuly and the Director of the Hungarian National Museum Zsigmond Gábor signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing international scientific, cultural and museum relations.

In addition, the delegation of the National Museum of Kazakhstan visited the Hungarian Museum of Natural History, with which long-standing cooperation has been established. The museum director’s advisor András Bíró introduced the history of the cultural institution and provided comprehensive information about its activities.

During the visit, Museum Director Berik Abdigaliuly and exhibition specialist Marina Lachkova explored the museum exhibitions and took part in a guided tour organized by the Institute of Anthropology.

As part of the event, Hungarian colleagues presented their research infrastructure and ongoing scientific projects. These meetings are expected to expand cooperation in the field of scientific research, facilitate the exchange of experience and the implementation of joint projects, and give new momentum to strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.

It is worth noting that anthropologists from the Hungarian Museum of Natural History reconstructed the appearances of Abulkhair Khan and Keiki Batyr (displayed at the National Museum). This work was carried out on the basis of comprehensive scientific research, starting with the study of skull remains.
