Exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Isatay Isabayev
On June 5, we invite you to the opening of an exhibition dedicated to the legacy of Isatay Isabayev, marking the 90th anniversary of the master of Kazakh graphic art.
For the first time, the exhibition will feature the artist’s rarely exhibited zinc, boxwood, and linoleum printing matrices, alongside more than 80 works from the collection of the National Museum and the artist’s family archive.
Programme:
- 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – The Onergy Hub multimedia installation, dedicated to the artist’s memory, will be presented in the Atrium.
- 1:00 PM – An international roundtable discussion in a hybrid format, bringing together experts in art, culture, and museum studies, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and artists from Lithuania, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
- 4:00 PM – Opening ceremony of the exhibition with the participation of members of the artist’s family, representatives of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, international art critics, and members of the diplomatic corps.
Guests will be treated to traditional Kazakh refreshments.
