On June 4 at 3:00 PM, the grand opening of the exhibition «Tanbaly: Code of Ancestors» will take place. The exhibition is jointly organized by the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Tanbaly Museum-Reserve.
The exhibition offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the petroglyphs of the Tanbaly Archaeological Landscape – one of the most significant rock art sites in Kazakhstan and Central Asia – through the lens of modern art.
This unique cultural heritage site, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, vividly reflects the worldview, spiritual experience, and artistic expression of ancient peoples.
