Kazakhstan and France have strengthened inter-museum partnership

The series of meetings between Berik Abdigaliuly, Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the heads of France’s leading museums is continuing in Paris.

During meetings with Emmanuel Kasarherou, President of the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac, and Aurélie Clémente-Ruiz, Director of the Musée de l’Homme, Berik Abdigaliuly discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties, expand scientific and cultural exchanges, and explore prospects for implementing joint projects.

The meeting held at the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing scientific and cultural ties and expanding inter-museum cooperation.

These initiatives represent a logical continuation of the discussions launched at the round table titled «Kazakhstan – France: From Cultural Dialogue to Joint Projects», held in Paris on September 18.
