The Department of Museum Pedagogy and Children's Creativity organized a museum lesson entitled «Symbols – a sign of an Independent state» within the framework of the projects «Historical Figures» and «Museum Holidays».
Students of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School of Astana participated in the event. The purpose of the lesson was to familiarize students with the history and significance of the State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to explain the national ideas and spiritual values embodied in each of their elements, and to foster respect for the national symbols and a sense of patriotism.
The event began in the Independent Kazakhstan Hall with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It continued with a presentation by Acting Director of the Center for Heraldic Studies, Adilkhair Myrzakhanov, who spoke about the history, meaning, and importance of the State Symbols. The students recited poems dedicated to the National Emblem, the National Flag, and the National Anthem, and also took part in a quiz.
The lesson concluded with practical activities involving the assembly of images of the National Emblem and Flag, as well as review and reinforcement exercises. The event was aimed at broadening the students’ knowledge and enriching their educational experience.
