At the «History of Kazakhstan from the 13th to the 20th Centuries» hall of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a themed tour week titled «The Great Victory – A Legacy for Future Generations» was held to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Victory.

During the tour, participants learned about Kazakhstan’s immeasurable contribution to Victory during the Great Patriotic War, the heroism of soldiers on the battlefield, and the dedicated efforts of home front workers.

Through the historical documents, photographs, personal belongings of veterans, awards, and valuable wartime artifacts displayed in the exhibition, visitors were given a comprehensive understanding of the historical significance of the Great Victory.

The themed tour also highlighted the country’s industrial strength during the war years, achievements in agriculture, and the moral support provided by representatives of culture and the arts. In addition, it emphasized that the unity, resilience, and boundless patriotism of the people were among the key foundations of Victory.

The main purpose of the tour week was to help the younger generation appreciate the value of peaceful life, honor the heroism of those who defended the homeland, promote the example of citizens who worked tirelessly on the home front, and preserve historical memory.
