At the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Natalia Golovkina, the chief choreographer of the Russian international festival «Inclusive Dance», held a master class for choreographers on inclusive dance and rehabilitation through dance. The event was organized as part of the 8th Inclusive Museum Festival of Children’s Creativity «Meiirim», which recently opened at the museum.
According to Bibigul Arystanbekova, a junior researcher at the Department of Museum Pedagogy and Children’s Creativity, around 30 choreographers took part in the master class and learned about the specifics of inclusive dance art.
«This is a great opportunity for professional development. In addition, it is worth noting that this year we held the festival in a dance format for the first time. Previously, the event had been held seven times in the format of master classes. Yesterday, many participants showcased their art», said Bibigul Tolegenovna.
